Routes by car along the Coast of “A Mariña Lucense”.

Route 1. O Vicedo-Ribadeo.

We leave O Vicedo toward Viveiro along C-642 and follow through San Cibrao and Burela between other places.
Then, we join Barreiros with the N-634 reaching our final destination called Ribadeo. Through this journey we can visit the historic centre of Viveiro, San Cibrao peninsula, the factory of Sargadelos in Cervo, the fishing port in Burela, the Celtic hill-forts of Fazouro, the sandyground of Barreiros, the beach of Cathedrals of San Miguel of Reinante and the historic centre of Ribadeo.

Route 2. O Vicedo- San Andrés de Teixido.

We leave from O Vicedo toward Ferrol along C-642 until the bridge of Mera. From there, we turn right to arrive at Cariño. Then, from Cariño we could go on until San Andrés de Teixido crossing the chain of mountain called A Capelada, for that we branched off just when we reach a turning left at beginning of village ( nearby of the petrol-station).
During the journey we can visit the fishing port of O Barqueiro, Bares village, Stake of Bares, areas with several cliffs such as “O Picón” in Loiba, Ortegal cape in Cariño ( extraordinaries cliffs), Sanctuaries of San Andrés de Teixido. According to the legend, it is said that one who isn’t going alive will have to go death.
