SAN MARTÍN’S ISLAND
This island is located in the estuary of the river “Sor” with a space of great natural beauty where the river gets to be widest and appear bordering the island. Among the arboreal species that there are in the whole island it’s necessary to highlight the pine and the eucalyptus. This island is surrounded with sand banks which are found in low tide, being even possible in some cases to arrive until the same one. In this island there was one of the first feminine monasteries of the history that disappeared in the XV century and whose remains aren’t conserved.
