GASTRONOMY
Among the shellfish that here are captured we have got small crabs, spider crabs, barnacles, lobsters, clams, etc. Although deserves special mention the “coquina” (known here as “navalla”), bivalve mollusk similar to the clam, but more appreciated to be more flavourful and softer.It grows in the outlet of the river “Sor”, due to special characteristics of this area. So, it should be considered the product most typical inside the great variety of shellfish.

Also are very appreciated the squids, cuttlefish and octopus. Among the fish that the consumers prefer there are sea-bass, sole, anglerfish and the most popular as the sardine and horse-mackerel.
Even, we can tasteful excellents pork chops, lamb, kid and veal. Special mention deserves the barbacued meat, plate very valued in the area which includes rib (of veal or pork) seasoned and roasted to the ember. Of course, neither we can forget the typical Galician plate composed by different cooked meats and served with vegetables, chickpeas and potatoes.
